The Afrika Holding is planning to open a Hungarian business house in Mali. That would be the first Hungarian business initiative in Western-Africa – reported our local correspondent Balázs Mihálffy.
Mali is the logistical center of the region. The trade routes from the ports of Mauritania, Senegal, Guinea, and Ivory Coast lead to Mali and continue to Burkina Faso and Niger. The Hungarian experiences could be a valuable help to the country’s economic development. The local networks of business activities and the infrastructure are in very poor shape, so there are great opportunities for development. One of the possible locations of the business house could be Mamaribougou. The city would welcome the initiative.
