Bernard Parker has scored seven goals for the South African national team and this youngster could go on to be a great striker for Bafana for many years to come, replacing Benni McCarthy in the process.

He is one of the few players in the Bafana squad who have shown a prolific scoring ability, and against New Zealand in the recent FIFA Confederations Cup he scored a brace to help South Africa register a crucial win in the group stages.


He stood out in the competition as one of South Africa’s most dangerous players, and despite mistakenly blocking the ball from going into the goal in the first match, he bounced back and displayed his quality in the subsequent matches.
