‘Next financial year we are investing $3 million in a new electronic jury management system, which will make the process of selecting jurors more efficient and user friendly,’ Attorney General Greg Smith said.
‘The new system will speed up the jury assembly system and uses 21st century technology in the management of jury rolls.’
Other proposals include potential jurors giving information about the most suitable dates when they can serve on a jury via their mobile phone or tablet computer.
