The man, 25, is charged with murdering a 55-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman, who were found dead at a home in Playford Road, Killarney Vale, on Friday night.
Two children, a boy and a girl, were removed from the house.
Police arrested the alleged killer at an industrial estate in the same suburb a short time later.
Gosford police confirmed on Sunday the charged man had been refused bail in Gosford Bail Court on Saturday.
He is due to appear in Wyong Local Court on Tuesday.
Police said he was also being questioned over a number of incidents earlier on Friday evening, including car-jackings, crashes and an assault.
