The 38-year-old officer, from Amaroo, was arrested by the ACT Policing sexual assault and child abuse team last night.
Officers say they’ve charged the man with committing the act of indecency against a minor, alleging the offence occurred between June 1 and late December 24 last year.
He’s been suspended from duty.
