Billionaire Clive Palmer’s promised those who ride on his new Titanic an authentic experience – even down to the long line to the bathroom.
He says all passengers will be given 1912-style clothing, measured to their size, to wear during the day and at evening functions.
Third-class passengers will be served stew and potatoes, and be able to dance a jig to live Irish music into the early hours.
The mining magnate revealed the plans at the same time as he announced that the daughter and sister of former US president John Kennedy will be among the guests at the project’s launch in New York in December.
The ship is due to set sail in late 2016.
