The goal of the association is to develop further business contacts between the two countries. Morocco is the fourth main economic partner of Hungary in Africa. But the country can take the lead if the partners use the economic and business opportunities more effectively. On the proposal of the ITDHungary, Sándor Balogh, the president of the African – Hungarian Union and the founder of Afrika Holding was elected for president by the council members. He pledged to do everything with the assistance of the founding members, and in close cooperation with the government for the development of bilateral relations and trade. The main goal is to help the hungarian entrepreneurs to find new markets in such unexploited areas, like Africa.
The Hungarian Moroccan Economic Joint Committee will hold its next session on the 20-22. December 2010 in Casablanca with the presidency of dr. Zsolt Becsey, Hungarian State Secretary.
