Inter midfielder Sulley Muntari is being tipped to pack his bags and join Tottenham Hotspur in January, according to Sportmediaset.it.
The Ghana midfielder has not been enjoying the best of season’s at the San Siro. His form has dipped, making uncharacteristic errors in every game.
Indeed, he was jeered off the pitch when he was substituted by Jose Mourinho against Udinese.
Speculation has now grown louder over Muntari’s future, and the report suggests he may consider a Premier League return.
It is said that Spurs are keen on him. Apparently, manager Harry Redknapp is eager to have the powerful midfield in his pool after working with him at Portsmouth.
A move could take place in the January transfer window, though there has been no official response to the whispers as yet.
