When the injury was first reported, Vermezovic said Khune could be out for as long as three months and only return to action in November, but the Serbian is now talking about a matter of weeks instead.
“He has responded well to treatment and has already begun to train with the rest of goalkeepers,” ‘VV’ told KickOff.com.
“He might be back in action within the next two to three weeks, because he looks to be in good condition at the moment.”
However, Vermezovic will do well not to rush the Khune back into action following Sunday’s incident in which Reneilwe Letsholonyane aggravated an ankle injury.
