Belcaid Jali-Mounir is the first Morrocan who swam across the Gibraltar Channel.The sportsman on Monday swam from Africa to Europe within 3 hrs. and 48 mins. oficcially, with a nepreme suit on him due to the low temperatures of the sea.
On the same day aswell, American swimmer Brian Lynn Carlton also acomplished the same 14 km route by swimming accross the channel within 3 hrs. and 7 mins.
