According to the program, the event coordinated by embassies in Jamaica will screen until December 10 films from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Venezuela.
A total of nine films makes up the festival, intended as a showcase of filmmaking in the region.
Spain is this year’s guest of honor, while Cuba will be represented by the film Habanastation by Ian Padrón, the note adds. (PL)
