About 250 security staff employed at the Qantas domestic terminal began a form of work-to-rule action at 6.30am (AEDT) today, following a break-down in crisis pay dispute talks with employer MSS Security.
The union says workers will be scrutinising each bag that comes through the check-points, in a move that’s expected to cause long queues and delays.
Passengers on domestic Qantas and Jetstar flights are being advised to arrive one hour earlier than usual.
