A superannuation firm employee allegedly pilfered more than $1 million from the accounts of clients.
It’s alleged that between July and August this year the 31-year-old Marrickville woman redirected approximately $1,045,000 into bank accounts belonging to family members.
The woman was arrested on Wednesday morning after the company discovered duplicate payments and alerted police.
She’s been charged with eight counts of dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception and was conditionally bailed to appear in Downing Centre Local Court on November 8.
