Govt to sign strategic cooperation agreement with unilever
The government is to sign a strategic cooperation agreement with Unilever Hungary Trading company in line with a decision published in Thursday’s official gazette Magyar Kozlony.
The minister of foreign affairs and trade is expected to arrange the signing of the agreement with Unilever, a large investor in Hungary. Since 2012, the government has signed partnership agreements with 64 companies investing in Hungary. Foreign ministry state secretary Laszlo Szabo said earlier this week that these companies have created 13,000 more jobs since signing agreements with the government. British-Dutch multinational Unilever is the second largest consumer goods company after the US firm Procter and Gamble. It is represented in Hungary by three production facilities that employ over 1,500 people.
