The school, which is situated in Ouirgane in the Atlas Mountains, has about a thousand pupils. The school has no electricity, desks and sometimes they even lack the sufficient number of basic school equipment. AHU promised to deliver computers, desks and school equipment in the future. The companies Graboplast and Trilak were the first to donate first for AHU’s call for help. Their donations were handed over a few days ago by the AHU delegation.
Based on the success AHU is preparing a long-term contract, taking into the action the Moroccan partner-president of the Moroccan-Hungarian Business Council (CAMH), Mr. Youssef Alaoui (who continuously supports the schools himself) and Mr. Abdelaziz Boulahcen, superintendent of the local schools.
Besides the donations, AHU will deliver and and set up solar panels in the schools where there is no electricity at the moment.
Mr. András Szabó, Hungarian consul was also present at the ceremony and the negotiations.
