Rwanda leader: Wenger must go

ARSENAL football boss Arsene Wenger has been told to quit — by an African PRESIDENT.

Rwandan leader Paul Kagame is a huge fan of the London club but says it’s time for a change.

His call came after Arsenal lost 2-1 at home to Manchester United on Sunday — their third Premier League defeat in a row.

Kagame said: “I very much support Arsenal. But to be honest, Wenger needs to coach another team now and Arsenal needs another coach.”

He also added on Twitter: “When a good team and a good coach fail for long to deliver, one of them has to change, or even both!”

For his 50th birthday in 2007 Kagame was handed an Arsenal banner signed by the entire squad and a letter from Wenger. The Frenchman has managed the club — nicknamed The Gunners — since 1996.
