The diplomat recalled the sixties and seventies, when the relation between the two countries had been much closer, and told that the time was right to re-explore these relations. The best means of “getting to know each other better” is culture. The representative said that with the support of the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the African-Hungarian Union, a “Guinea-day” would be organized in Budapest, on the 22ndMarch. The event shall bring an excellent occasion for Hungarian and Guinean businessmen and entrepreneurs to explore potential fields of cooperation in the two countries. Besides the Budapest event, the embassy aspires to organize such forums for businessman in Belgrade as well, on which occasions Hungarian participants, visitors are also welcome. In these cases, geographic distance should not be a problem.
